November Holidays in The U.S.

El nostre alumnat del Diploma Dual a l’ESO (el High School americà) participa de dues Festivitats americanes molt emblemàtiques “des de la distància”.

VETERANS DAY
November 11th is a holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War I to honor U.S. Veterans of all wars.

THANKSGIVING DAY
Thanksgiving is an annual national holiday marked by a traditional meal including turkey. The holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621 and is held in the U.S. on the fourth Thursday in November.
