• Wroclaw is the largest city in western Poland.

The highest temperature in Wrocław was 8 August 2015 (+38.9 °C). The lowest temperature was 8 January 1985 (−29.4 °C).
• The city is now divided into 48 osiedles (districts).
• Wrocław is the third largest educational centre of Poland, with 135,000 students in 30 colleges which employ some 7,400 staff.

• El nom de la ciutat es deu al seu suposat fundador, el duc bohemi Vratislau I.
• La ciutat té nombrosos afluents i canals, i s’estén sobre un total de 12 illes, les quals estan interconnectades per 112 ponts. És a causa dels seus nombrosos ponts i passarel·les que Wroclaw és denominada la Venècia de Polònia.
• Escampats per tot el nucli antic, hi ha un total d’unes 95 estàtues de follets amb posicions diferents.
• Wroclaw compta amb un total de nou museus, deu teatres, una òpera, una opereta, una filarmònica i un teatre de titelles.
• L’aeroport de la ciutat es diu Copèrnic.

Aprofitarem les activitats que la ciutat celebra per haver estat anomenada, juntament amb la ciutat basca de Sant Sebastià, Capital Europea de la Cultura 2016.

Després de tornar l’Ana P. i la Isabel df de Romania i arrencar el Projecte VIRTUAL MUSEUM amb la resta d’escoles, hem redecorat el racó Erasmus + amb els regals que ens vam fer.

Yesterday evening all the teachers met in a very nice restaurant to thank and say goodbye each other. We had a great time together eating traditional Romanian food as

Sarmale, minced meat with rice, wrapped in either pickled cabbage leaves or vine leaves.

Mamaliga, a Romanian version of polenta made of cornmeal.

Toba, prepared by pork organs and lots of condiments.

Cozonac, sweet bread made from nuts at Christmas time.

We got our certificates and we enjoyed a lot with the music and dancing.

We spent our last morning visiting Ramnicu Sarat, the city we have been for 7 days and discoved nice places such as the market, the train station, the city hall, the monastery, the park… Let’s see!!

avui Diumenge ens han portat a les muntanyes nevades dels Càrpats, concretament a la ciutat de Sinaia. Sinaia és una de les localitats de muntanya més pintoresques de Romania, a 124 km al nord de Bucarest. La vila pren el nom del monestir de Sinaia, anomenat així en al·lusió al mont Sinaí, i al voltant del qual es va anar desenvolupant la ciutat. El rei Carol I de Romania va construir la seva residència d’estiu, el castell de Peleş, molt a prop de la vila.

Allà hem visitat el Monestir ortodoxe de Caraiman i el Castell de Peles.

el rei Carol I de Romania va retirar-se a la seva residència reial d’estiu després de la I Guerra Mundial, on va morir 27 de setembre de 1914.
