Revenge

Revenge is a bad feeling that makes you get angrier. It’s a game that never end, and you can’t

be in peace with yourself. Sometimes we are very furious and we don’t think well, we only want to take revenge and hurt the other people because they have hurt us, without thinking the consequences it could have.

We can say that finally Hamlet gets revenge because he killed Claudius, and it was his objective, but to get it he had to sacrifice his life and other people’s life. Revenge also makes us selfish, we can´t see through the rage.

I think that in the play, Hamlet is not the bad guy. I consider that he isn’t being himself because he is guided by rage. He only cares about killing Claudius, and in part I understand him; it’s very difficult to lose someone that you really love, and it makes it more difficult the fact that the person who killed him is someone that you know and you are living with. Hamlet should feel like he owns his father and impotence.

After reading the play my opinion about revenge has been reinforced; I think that revenge only brings you bad things, trouble and anger, and that we should think carefully about the consequences our actions would have.
